We are delighted to welcome our new Sales Manager, Ove Jonsson, to JGA! Ove is taking over the role from Jonas Sandborg, who is heading into a well-deserved retirement after many dedicated years with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ove has a long background as an entrepreneur and consultant in business development. He also brings extensive experience in international sales and digitalization. Now, he\u2019s looking forward to continuing to build strong customer relationships, developing the business, and driving growth in the sales of sawn timber together with his colleagues at JGA.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Sales Manager, I look forward to working long-term and tracking results over time – collaborating closely with colleagues and setting a shared direction. Forests are an amazing resource with great potential, and we\u2019re seeing a growing global demand for timber,\u201d says Ove.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking well-informed decisions about how we utilize our valuable raw materials will be even more important for JGA moving forward. It\u2019s also vital for us to communicate the environmental benefits of wood, and how our products contribute to a sustainable economy and the green transition. I am confident that Ove\u2019s background and deep expertise in both sustainability and business development will be a valuable asset to JGA in the work ahead,\u201d says Claes Andersson, CEO.<\/p>\n

Strong Customer Relations and a Close Connection to the Forest<\/h3>\n

In his new role, Ove will focus on developing customer relationships\u2014both in Sweden and internationally.<\/p>\n

\u201cJGA already has strong customer relationships, and I look forward to building on them through presence and dialogue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of work, fitness is an important part of Ove\u2019s daily routine. He leads spinning and group fitness classes such as BodyPump. Family and friends also play a big role in his life, and he enjoys spending time at the family summer house, where there are always new painting or gardening projects underway.<\/p>\n

The forest has always been close to Ove\u2019s heart\u2014it\u2019s where he recharges and finds energy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up with the forest right outside my door and still spend a lot of time there. The calm it brings is hard to find elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Forest and Wood – Important for the Future<\/h3>\n

There is no doubt that Ove sees great potential in wood as a building material, but he also recognizes the challenges ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cGlobal interest in wood is growing, but we must also manage the limited supply of raw materials and the challenges posed by climate change. Still, I firmly believe in the role of forests in the future – it\u2019s all about using our resources wisely,\u201d says Ove.<\/p>\n

Ove describes his introduction to JGA as both positive and inspiring.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve received a warm welcome and have met co-workers across the entire organization. The sales team is experienced and knowledgeable, and I look forward to learning even more – from colleagues, customer meetings, and the industry as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n
